Brooklyn Jewelers (Est. 2016) official website states that the company is, “reinventing design’ by pairing cutting edge technology to bring designs to life.” Broolyn Jewelers was founded by Marc Adwar, who comes from a family of jewelry manufacturers. After leading his casting company, Adwar Casting, for 23 years, Marc decided to open his jewelry boutique in 2016.
Brooklyn Jewelers is a tech driven company that uses both computer aided design and local artistry to create cutting edge jewelry for top retailers. Their collections are inspired by Brooklyn neighborhoods including Greenpoint, Williamsburg and DUMBO, that is an acronym for ‘Down Under Manhattan Bridge.’ Marc said in an interview with Instore Magazine “…we take a traditional style and add a little Brooklyn edginess.”
The firm uses 3D printing technology to quickly create samples that appeal to the millenial crowd they target. “[Millenials] get a bad rap,” Marc says “They’re misunderstood … we built our systems … to be able to build the CAD designs and make alterations for the customer …”
Brooklyn Jewelers takes its “Be The Brand” mantra seriously. They supply the trend and their clients make it their own. The firm’s collections are comprised of Starburst, Best of Brooklyn, Links, Stack Me Up, Windows, and Brooklyn Bridge. The firm also prominently promotes its Bedford Collection (a whimsical collection of precious metals and gemstones featuring organic shapes and ornate motifs), the Wythe Collection (a bridal collection of classic elegant designs) reimagined with a modern twist) and its Roebling Collection (a modern collection of precious metals and gemstones featuring clean, straight lines, and geometric patterns).
