Philippe Van Dievoet

Philippe Van Dievoet was born in Brussels in 1654 and was a goldsmith to King Louis XIV, the Consul of Paid and the counselor of the King. He married the daughter of Balthazar Martinot, who was a famous watchmaker and clockmaker in France. His brother was sculptor Peter Van Dievoet who is known across Europe for his creations.
